Registering For Online Bidding

Online bidding has become very popular. To improve service and to help buyers watch the bottom line, we are making online bidding possible directly from our own website. It is an custom online bidding platform that has been built for us and we are anticipating a seamless transition. While we appreciate our long time customers and consignors, we welcome new customers to this new platform.

To our long time customers, please take a minute to update your registration to ensure details are correct.

Registering For In-Person Bidding

A big part of auction nostalgia is the heated anxiety of in-person bidding. If you plan to bid in person here is what to plan for to come prepared. We will require a driver’s license or state issued ID, in order to register to bid. You will want to bring payment. Cash is king and bringing cash will save you a few percentage points in processing fees. One more thing is that it saves you a few bucks to print out your catalog in advance and bring it with you. In-Person bidding avoids the convenience fee added to online bidding.

Registering For Absentee / Left Bids

If you can’t be here, and don’t want to bid online you can have one of our bidding agents, bid on your behalf. To register for absentee/left bids you must first register as a bidder, and then complete a form letting us know which items and how high the bidding agent will bid for you. The agent will not open the bidding for anymore than half of your maximum bid amount, and will bid on your behalf until you either win the lot or the bidding exceeds the maximum bid you set. Absentee Bids must be at least $30, and must be submitted at least 30 minutes prior to auction start time.

To register for phone bidding you must first register as a bidder, and then complete a form letting us know which items you want to bid on. Phone bids must be willing to open the bid at a $100 minimum. If there are no other bids the phone bidding agent will open the bid for you at $100.
